So many exciting things have been happening and are happening today. Pics to come later today.
First of all, A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT HELPED WITH THE GROUTING!!!!! That was a huge job of being on your knees for hours at a time and we say thank you a million times. A job well done!!!
We are ready to do the finished carpentry work (hanging doors, replacing base boards, wrapping poles). If you are experienced in or know how to do this please call John Egerer at 893-8259. John is coordinating this aspect of the work. So please call John asap!
Thank you to all who has done any work on the construction project. It's so exciting to see the progress.
We are almost done with the painting. All that is left is painting the nursery. We've had some volunteers come in and paint around the trim so the only thing that needs to be done is rolling on of the paint. Easy! Right?
Please come on Thursday, March 19th at 8:30 am to finish up the last bit of painting.
Once the painting is completed:
The electricians come to put lights in and any other electrical (which will take a day or two)
Order the sub-flooring and add it to the coffee area
Put the flooring down
Cabinets are going in next week
We've got a lot of exciting things happening! We are getting closer and closer to being done.
We are ready for workers!!!!
Yes, we need workers to help paint color on lots of walls! So, if you have a steady hand and love to change the look of things by painting walls this is your time.
Saturday, March 14th at 8:30 am
Please bring your paint brushes, rollers, rolling trays and containers for paint for paint brushes.
Come join us and help keep the progress going. We can use as many as can come.
It's getting more and more exciting to see the progress. This Sunday it will be even more exciting. The walls will be textured. But until then here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.
We have received the wall board!!! Rumor has it that it will be done by next Friday! Woo! Woo!
The recess lighting is in.
The wall for the baby changing table is being made stronger before the wall goes up!!!
Praise God for the progress being made. Pray for continued safety!
