About the Trip
From March 23-31, 19 youth and adults will travel to San Salvador to serve at the C&MA Envision site. While the team is there, they will build relationships with local El Salvadorean students who are part of an established after school program called La Fuente (the fountain). Envision El Salvador's mission is to display the love of God to these students who are often bullied or drawn into the gang culture that is rampant in El Salvador. At La Fuente, lunch is provided, the gospel is shared, and there are classes taught that provide them with basic skills like English, cooking, computer, woodworking, and math. The Plymouth Alliance team will also do sports ministry with El Salvadorean students, and partner with local churches for other community outreach. While there, the Plymouth Alliance team will also have opportunity to experience a new culture and society and worship in a local El Salvadorean C&MA church.
