Date: Saturday, September 21
Time: 9:30 AM - 12 PM
Where: First United Lutheran Church, 2401 Kohler Memorial Drive
What: Join us for the Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE), a powerful 3-hour simulation designed to offer a glimpse into the lived experience of poverty. Why Attend?
Deepen Understanding: Gain a deeper insight into the realities of poverty in America.
Improve Engagement: Learn effective approaches to better support low-income individuals and their families.
Build Partnerships: Foster meaningful collaborations with the broader community to create positive change.
For years, many well-meaning efforts to address poverty have overlooked the wisdom and leadership of those most affected. Where: Knights of Columbus Hall, 833 Center Avenue, Sheboygan
Guest Speaker: Ramona Trevino, Outreach Director (national 40 Days for Life). Ramona was the
manager of a Planned Parenthood abortion referral facility in Sherman, Texas. God used the prayers
and public witness of a 40 Days for Life campaign to move her to leave her job and reclaim her walk
with Christ. Ramona’s resignation from Planned Parenthood resulted in her former center going out of
business.
This will “kick-off” the Fall 40 Days for Life peaceful, prayerful vigil to end abortion--September 25
through November 3. Please join us to hear Ramona’s story and be inspired to pray publicly to change
