Parkview School Partnership
Plymouth Alliance Church is passionate about impacting our community.
One of the ways we do this is through partnering with a local school. By volunteering in a number of areas we want to live like Jesus around people that need him, showing them through our actions what it means to follow Christ.

Plymouth Alliance Church partners with Parkview Elementary School for the purpose of being a light in our community by serving others.
We do this in a number of ways:
If you have questions about our partnership with Parkview Elementary School contact Mabree Johnson at packids@plymouthalliance.org.
- Helping teachers on specified days with classroom activities.
- Helping out with special events that the schools need volunteers for.
- Eat lunch with a student during lunchtime, "Lunch buddies".
- Providing Staff Breakfasts or Lunches at the beginning and/or end of the school year.
- Providing boxes of food for families in need during Thanksgiving
- Providing gifts for families in need during Christmastime

Parkview School Partnership: Staff Breakfast Monday, March 18th Join us in blessing the teachers of Parkview Elementary School with breakfast as they push through the week leading up to Spring Break. We're trying something different this time around. Instead of casseroles, we'll be providing "grab-n-go" items. You'll notice more ingredient-type items on the signup. A small group will gather after church on Sunday to prepare breakfast. If you want to be a part of this, please sign up for that as well! Sign up for food items to contribute HERE. All items should be labeled "Parkview" and brought to the church, lower kitchen, by Noon on Sunday, March 17th. |
Spring Concert Treats Sunday, April 21st Join us in our support of Parkview Elementary School as we partner with the PTO to provide baked goods and treats for their Spring Concert. These treats will be available before, between and after the concerts for donations. Collected donations will be used to improve the playground equipment. Sign up HERE to make and individually package brownies, bars, cookies, puppy chow and Chex mix. (Please read the instructions on the sign up for size and packaging details). All items are due to the church lower kitchen on Sunday, April 21st. |
Testimonies from our Volunteers
"The Parkview teacher I partner with has told me how kind, friendly, and caring the volunteers from Plymouth Alliance are and that they are different from others in the school. I was able to share my faith briefly, and invite this teacher to church. I continue to volunteer with this class and am asking God for more opportunities to share."
--Dennis, P.E. volunteer
"I have loved getting to ‘play’ with the first graders at Parkview. Getting to know them and interacting with them and the teachers has been a blessing. I hope I have blessed them too."
--Bonnie, 1st grade volunteer
"I have loved interacting with students at Parkview! They are so full of love. It's a lot of fun getting to know the kids but also sad to hear about their family and the situation that some are in.There are times when you know that you and the teacher are the only ones loving on some of these kids. In Matthew 19:14 it says, Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
--Jeannie, 2nd grade volunteer
