Missions Conference 2025

From His first invitation to His final Commission, Jesus invites His followers into the deeper life with Him and out alongside Him to all the world. “Come, follow Me,” He says, calling us to Himself. “I will send you out,” and “Go and make disciples of all nations,” He commands, sending us out with His heart to the world. And His promise—“I am with you always”—guarantees His love and empowerment through His Spirit at all times.

At the heart of our faith is a call to be with Jesus—to receive all of Him and to be transformed by His work. And being with Jesus carries us to where His heart is—with the people of the world who are lost, marginalized, and searching.

Together as a family of Christ followers, we believe that obedience to God and the overflow of a deeper life in Jesus compel us to do everything in our power to share the good news--All of Jesus for All the World.

​This year's featured International Workers (IW) are:

Hannu & Jen Vahakangas
YWAM - Montana

This year, instead of a single week-long missions conference, we will be blessed to have the Vahakangas Family with us for an extended stay from mid-October to mid-December. They will spend this time with us by participating in various ministries and forming connections within the congregation. Hannu plans to lead a small group, and Jen is looking to be involved in the kids' and/or women's ministries.

They will be staying at Rosemarie Hilbelink's house during their time here. We are asking the congregation to help share in the hospitality of our visiting missionaries by signing up for meal delivery, hosting, or sharing of grocery gift cards. Sign up HERE.

We will still host the traditional Chili Competition Fundraiser on Monday, November 3rd, at which the Vahakangas' will share about their ministries with YWAM.

We can all look forward to officially welcoming the Vahakangas family on Sunday, October 19th.

Chili Competition Fundraiser
Monday, November 3rd, 5:30 PM 
Enter your best chili recipe in our Chili Competition Fundraiser! Participants will sample and use money to vote for their favorite chili of the night. All proceeds will go to support YWAM Montana*. Hannu & Jen will also speak after the meal. This event is held in the Fellowship Hall.

*At YWAM Montana's School of Biblical Studies, Hannu and Jen equip students to take the Bible and the gospel where there is no gospel presence.
